Pavitra also leads the program work on social innovation, having launched programmes, initiatives, announcements, and reports at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Sustainable Development Impact Summit in New York, and leads the global launch of the Social Innovators of the Year Awards at the World Economic Forum. Pavitra has previously consulted with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) on legal affairs, public policy, and communications at the UN HQ in Geneva, Switzerland. She managed several policy advocacy campaigns to promote the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, including the Sustainable Development Goals. Pavitra also worked in the private legal sector on cases involving individuals as well as firms in corporate affairs, defamation, intellectual property, and technology law. Pavitra managed legal, policy advocacy, and communications at Music Rights Australia (which works jointly with the Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) and the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA)) designing and implementing national campaigns to preserve copyright laws in Australia to protect the rights of musicians. Pavitra has also worked in digital marketing, media, and fashion industries. Pavitra holds a Juris Doctor (specialising in Intellectual Property Law and International Law) along with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Political Sciences, and Marketing & Communications from the University of Melbourne. In addition, Pavitra has undertaken study abroad programmes at the University of Oxford, Maastricht University, and the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg.

The RE: Project has partnered with the WIAN | The Women in International Affairs Network to create an interview series about the #career experience of remarkable women from the #internationaldevelopment and humanitarian sector. They will be sharing their experience about the obstacles they faced, how they overcame them, and advice for other women embarking on a similar path. Our 5th episode features Shani Cain, CEO of the Oaktree Foundation, as she shares her experience with diversity and inclusion in the International Development Sector, her challenges as a female in the ID sector, and her key #tips for females striving to make a career in the ID field! Shani is the CEO of the Oaktree Foundation, which is Australia's largest youth-led international development agency with over 250,000 supporters. Previously working in settlement, community development and advocacy at the Centre for Multicultural Youth, Shani not only is a CEO, but she is also a Board Member for Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and Executive Member for the Campaign For Australian Aid. She is is an active believer in the ability to change the world and is passionate about youth, gender and climate. As a social entrepreneur and sustainability campaigner with a special focus in food systems, she has worked with organisations like Unilever, Sainsbury's, and Westminster City Council to adopt green practices. With her work recognised on Al Jazeera, BBC, the Huffington Post, in 2019, she was awarded the “Women in Food” award by London Food Link, Sustain, and the Mayor of London for her work in food waste reduction. ⏯ Stephanie Cantor is the Director of Operations at Dare to Care Packages. Originally from the US, she worked as an International Development Consultant for 5 years at PwC in Washington, DC, managing projects related to global health, open innovation, CSR, and capacity building. In 2017, passionate about using innovative solutions to create social impact, she moved to London working for a small charity and as a Project Evaluator for GlobalGiving, before immersing in her studies at LSE full-time.
