RE: Project Mentor
Are you a professional with a background in the social sciences, humanities, international development and/or related fields?
Are you interested in sharing your experience as a way of giving back to the community and inspiring others? Are you in a position to offer some insights and help others at the beginning of their career?
If you answered YES to these questions, become a RE: Project mentor to make it happen!
Mentors can make a difference and help young professionals and students by:

Sharing their stories, experiences, and advice in the form of content (ie., a video interview, podcast, blog);
-
Leading short digital workshops focusing on specific aspects of career development, which aim to equip the audience with relevant skills, knowledge, and experience (See more about the workshops here).

Mentoring students/young professionals in need of guidance on a one-on-one basis;
-
Participating in networking events.

Become a
RE: Project Community Ambassador
Are you looking to be a part of a global community of social sciences/international development professionals? Do you want to carry forward the RE: Project’s vision of re-think, re-skill, and re-design the future of work for social scientists at your own university, institution, and/or organization? Do you want free access to RE:’s workshops, mentors, and our extensive global network of aspiring and experienced social scientists?
If yes, click here to apply for 2020-2021 RE: Project’s Community Ambassador position*. The position is open to current students (Undergraduate & Postgraduate (Master’s/Ph.D.), recent graduates, and anyone working at organizations within the broad fields of development, international affairs, social sciences, etc.
Duties of Community Ambassador include:

Distribute and actively promote RE: Project content, workshops, and other information to your community via social media;

Assist the RE: Project production team in gathering content topics, ideas, and feedback from your community.
Basic requirements:

Share our vision and passion for creating a robust network of social scientists/international development practitioners, as well as carry RE:’s work forward at their respective universities and organizations;

Have excellent interpersonal and social media skills;
-
Be the key liaison between their organizational/university chapter and the RE: Project Core Team;
-
Be passionate about the social sciences and making a positive change!

As a RE: Project Community Ambassador, you will reap several benefits including, but not limited to: free RE: Project workshop attendance and mentor introductions, first access to our exclusive mentor-referred job opportunities, and free spots in our networking events.

You will also have our support in hosting your very own RE: events whether through guest speakers, networking events, or skill-based workshops in your own community;
